Using Sipaz Super against ticks, bedbugs and cockroaches: how to dilute it to make it work

Despite the rapid development of technology, people continue to suffer from ubiquitous insects. The human home for bedbugs and cockroaches is an apartment from which they will not easily leave. The drug Sipaz Super has established itself as a highly effective, reliable remedy. With proper processing, the very next day there will be no trace of arthropods left.

What you need to know about Sipaz Super

The drug is known for its activity against ixodid ticks, carriers of tick-borne encephalitis and Lyme disease. It is used to treat children's playgrounds, health camps, sanatoriums, forest belts and roads frequently visited by tourists. It is also in demand in the fight against bedbugs, cockroaches, ants and other insects in residential premises and medical institutions.

Sipaz Super is produced by the Dutch company Hallmark Chemicals BV

What are these poisons and why are they based on chlorpyrifos?

This insect repellent, in particular blood-sucking bedbugs, was developed with an eye on the needs of people suffering from the parasite, but who do not want (or simply do not have the opportunity) to poison the bedbugs by calling a professional exterminator. Chlorpyrifos-based products can be safely used in cases where the situation seems hopeless: there is a child, animals in the house, and it will not be possible to leave the infested living space until the end of disinfestation against bedbugs.

Potent drugs, as usual, are extremely toxic not only to parasites, but also to those who live nearby. And for effective use you always have to use them often and a lot. Of course, if there is a small child in the house who can no longer be kept in the crib, then any contact with toxic substances is extremely dangerous.

Chlorpyrifos is a chemical [C9H11Cl3NO3PS] often used in the formulation of a contact spectrum insecticide. Chlorpyrifos-based poisons work as an instant nerve agent. When the parasite touches the substance, it catches microgranules of the substance on its paws, after which it spreads the infection everywhere, and when it inhales, it dies from paralysis.

Safety to use

In fact, chlorpyrifos is not that safe. No, it certainly doesn't compare to the aerosols and chemicals used in mass processing. But it’s difficult to call it completely harmless. The fact is that sprayed poisons based on it are much heavier than instant-acting aerosol insecticides. They settle on the surface faster, preventing the substance from entering the human respiratory tract. But this in no way prevents insects from spreading it and poisoning it.

And such products are used only in diluted form, which minimizes the direct toxic effects of the substance. After treatment, which can be carried out completely independently, the room does not even need to be ventilated. However, all open areas of the living space treated with the above substance should be kept away from children and animals.

How effective are they against bed bugs?

Products that 100% get rid of this parasite can only be found in an exterminator’s backpack. This is, as a rule, a combination of drugs of varying degrees of toxicity, which together hit the sore spots of the parasite colony. Chlorpyrifos and all poisons based on it cause sufficient harm to the parasite population. The contact action and long-lasting effect result in relatively successful treatments, often resulting in the complete destruction of the parasite. If the handler himself has enough skills, he finds all the nests; processes where necessary; how preventive measures are applied at the likely sites of penetration - then the success of the event may surprise.

The fact is that almost all household poisons based on chlorpyrifos also affect the offspring of bed bugs. A properly treated apartment will become a real “minefield” for the parasite and will not allow it to leave offspring, much less reproduce. The only problem is that household packages of this concentrate cost half as much as ordering processing from a pest control service. And if the apartment is large, and there are a lot of places that need to be treated, then in unusual cases the use of chlorpyrifos poisons will hit the family budget quite hard. However, of course, there is no 100% guarantee.

Chlorpyrifos is an effective agent (organophosphorus insecticide) for the control of bed bugs. The product acts not only on adult insects, but also on eggs and larvae of bedbugs.

Analogs

There are a large number of similar drugs:

  • The composition is identical to Tsiradon CyperLAD-25 Cypermethrin 25.
  • Super Sipaz can be replaced with more advanced drugs Cyclop Sichlor Agran containing cypermethrin and chlorpyrifos.
  • For independent use, they often take professional Force Site Executioner Zonder products.

Pros and cons of Sipaz Super

Professional remedies for bedbugs and cockroaches are considered one of the most potent. Super Sipaz features:

  • high efficiency;
  • relative safety for humans;
  • long-term effect up to 5 weeks;
  • the ability to kill several types of insects at once, including ixodid ticks;
  • reasonable price when compared with other professional products.

The disadvantages include the pungent odor of the liquid and high safety requirements during processing. There are more modern products with several active ingredients in their composition. But their price is much higher.

The drug does not affect eggs! After 2-3 weeks, re-treatment is necessary.

Specialists from the Vredstop resource figured out the question of whether it is profitable to independently use professional means against bedbugs and cockroaches. Calling specialists is cheaper than buying the drug along with a sprayer and protective clothing.

How to ventilate a room

Traps for bedbugs
To achieve maximum treatment effect, it is necessary to prevent insects from accessing the liquid. To do this, bathtubs and sinks are wiped dry, and the taps must be turned off. Do not leave wet laundry in the room where the treatment was carried out.

You can make traps from poison. To do this, take any container, for example, a jar lid. A thin layer of powder is poured into it and placed under the furniture. This method will help destroy surviving insects.

Three to four hours after treatment, all dead insects must be removed. The traps are left for several weeks. There is no need to ventilate the room, since the drug does not have a specific odor.

Diana Gurchenko:

“I think everyone has encountered a problem with insects in their apartment. In our case it was cockroaches. We tried a lot of products until they recommended a professional insecticide containing cypermethrin. We bought Sipaz Super. We sprayed it from spray bottles according to the instructions. We left for a day. It took a long time to ventilate and wash the apartment. There have been no cockroaches for more than 2 months.”

Mikhail Alekseevich:

“I was choosing between Sipaz Super and Taran. It was necessary to treat the grass and bushes to get rid of everyone hiding there. The consultant recommended Sipaz, a good remedy. Really helps. It's a pity, it's a little expensive."

Fighting bedbugs

Assortment of poisonous drugs
There are a large number of different sprays and gels to combat parasites. When choosing drugs, you need to evaluate them based on the following factors:

  • degree of toxicity;
  • safety for people and pets;
  • ease of use;
  • no smell.

The most convenient way to treat furniture is to use pastes and gels. They penetrate deep into the fabric well and do not leave stains.

Note! Among toxic agents, there are drugs with a cumulative effect. These include crayons. Once infected, the insect gradually poisons the remaining parasites.
