Instructions for use of fumigation tablets Alphos mole and dosage

No. 4 – Ecosniper LS-997MR

Price: 2000 rubles

Repeller with excellent technical characteristics. Its area of action is an impressive 15 acres, one set of batteries lasts for three months, and only a couple of weeks is enough to completely expel moles from the surrounding area. The device emits ultrasonic waves in a random order - their frequency and duration are always different, which means that moles have no chance of developing tolerance to them.

It is worth noting that this device is easy to use - you don’t have to dig it out to change the battery pack, just remove the battery compartment. The device is not afraid of rain and snow, is not subject to a corrosive effect, and mechanical damage can only be caused by deliberately knocking on it with a shovel. A very powerful and effective device that can eliminate the problem of moles and other pests in a matter of days.

Ecosniper LS-997MR

The result is positive, but it does not guarantee getting rid of problems.

I am sure that all summer residents and gardeners, to put it mildly, do not like moles. And really, why love them? There is no benefit, but a lot of harm - anyone who wasn’t upset when they saw piles of loose earth on lawns or beds is simply an “iron man” without emotions.

When you suddenly see a dug up lawn in the morning, you just want to strangle and drown all the moles. But in fact, these animals are quite harmless. But if you destroy them, more terrible individuals will appear - mole crickets. Therefore, moles do not need to be destroyed. They can simply be “moved” to the edge of the site.

I’ll write right away that I tried a lot of methods: jars on rods, electric repellers and all sorts of plants (by the way, of the three methods the most effective). It's not the same. Only with the plants something still works out - I planted a row of marigolds along the edge of the bed, and the mole will not go there. Doesn't like the smell. But in the spring, before the marigolds have bloomed and the soil is damp and soft, the animals have time to “frolic” and dig through everything that is not needed. And in the fall, when the flowers have faded, moles become more active.

And finally, I found an all-weather, round-the-clock remedy - Alphos Krot + tablets.

But before using them, you should understand how a mole digs holes. The animal usually settles under the roots of a large bush or tree, so it will not be possible to reach it with your bare hands.

But for “hunting,” moles dig feeding passages close to the surface. When they push out the earth so that it does not interfere with their movement, they get the earthen piles that everyone is used to seeing.

So, in order to discourage the mole from the area, you need to carefully remove the earth from the pile with a shovel and find the entrance to the hole. Sometimes you can open the stern passage. After this, you need to put 2-3 tablets in the hole and cover the entrance with earth. For greater and faster effect, you can moisten the tablets.

When interacting with water, it releases a most disgusting odor, similar to acetylene. This gas is acetylene; it used to be used to cook metal, extracting it from calcium carbide by filling it with water. This gas is so heavy that it sinks to the lowest point of the hole, that is, just to the mole’s lair. The animals are forced to leave this place. No matter how many times I used it, the moles never returned to the hole, at least not in the same year.

Here is the result - the mole is alive, the lawns are intact! Just like the saying about sheep and wolves.

But it is important to remember that while moles live on the site, they protect it from many pests. But the mole does not eat cultivated plants

If this is noticed, then most likely it is a mole rat - a rodent similar to a mole. It can also be driven away with the same tablets.

There are 30 tablets in a tightly screw-on tube.

I strongly recommend the product. Good weather to everyone and a bountiful harvest!

Chemicals and soil - why you should give up poison

Moles and shrews live under the surface of the soil. To combat them, toxic substances are placed inside molehills and passages. That is, they are immersed in the ground. And few people assume that such a bookmark is a real “time bomb.”

Little by little, the mixtures dissolve in the soil and poison everything around them. When watering, vegetables and grass absorb the composition and, as a result, the crop becomes unfit for consumption. This danger of chemicals to the soil is not disclosed by the manufacturers; they claim that the substances “decompose harmlessly.” And again logic comes into play - there are no chemicals in the world that would be safe!

When using poison against moles and shrews, the owner needs to be prepared to completely replace the fertile layer on the site.

And again the question: why are chemicals used on the fields, but on the site it is harmful? The answer is again simple - the dosage of all substances is monitored very strictly, so the amount of chemicals does not have such a significant effect as if they were placed on the site.

Mole himself

Let's get to know the pest itself first. The mole is a mammal and belongs to the order of insectivores. This in itself means that this animal is by no means a fan of trying root vegetables on our site or, especially, the root systems of plants, which it simply does not care about.

The mole feeds exclusively on insects and worms, which it hunts in the earth. And this miner could be considered a useful animal, but its underground lifestyle is coupled with the need to constantly expand underground highways, sometimes stretching for tens of meters from one area to another.

In addition, this animal, while hunting for its underground “game,” is well aware that its best chance of profiting is right near the root systems of plants and root crops, since many worms, insects and their larvae live there.

Thus, instead of being useful, the mole causes considerable damage to gardening, causing damage to the underground part of plants, their root systems, and also touches root and tuber crops, collecting its prey on them or simply ramming them when laying the next turn of its underground communication system.

But the pest itself is very small in size, reaching a maximum of 15-20 cm in length. This is a mouse-like small animal, covered with short, straight-growing hair, with a small tail, a very sensitive nose and powerful, digging-like paws with claws.

The mole, I must say, moves very cheerfully and confidently in the earth's thickness. His whole essence and body structure make it easy to identify him as an underground dweller. The smooth fur does not create unnecessary friction for the animal when moving; at the tip of the nose there are several very sensitive whiskers capable of picking up the slightest vibrations.

By the way, a mole can also easily move backwards. In this it is helped by the same vibrissae located on the tail that are on the muzzle. The mole can be considered to have almost no eyes. We use the word “almost” because some subspecies have eyes, but they can only distinguish between light and dark, nothing more.

The mole also has four limbs necessary for digging. The front ones, reminiscent of excavator buckets, especially stand out. The animal also has excellent hearing, like all blind creatures. His ears are hidden under a skin flap and fur to prevent soil from getting inside.

This is what he is, a pest. Quite funny in appearance, but very harmful in reality. Next, we move on to a review of all the most well-known methods of countering these underminers.

Is it possible to use sulfur bombs and firecrackers?

Smoke and sulfur bombs:

  • light up;
  • placed in passages, holes in the ground;
  • tightly covered with a sheet of plywood or a bucket.

As the smoke spreads along the passages, it begins to have a poisonous effect, scaring away shrews and moles from the summer cottage.

If firecrackers are used, they are placed in the passages, covered with a bucket, then exploded in a wave. The roar quickly spreads through the underground passages, deafens and scares away the animals. Another option for using firecrackers:

  • place on a small container treated with ammonia;
  • Set it on fire so that a fine ammonia smell begins to spread.

How not to poison moles

Fighting moles.

I would like to give some advice on how not to overdo it with baiting animals on the site. It is known that the need for invention is cunning, but not all “folk” methods are equally useful.

So, what methods of destroying underground inhabitants should not be used:

  • pouring kerosene into holes and setting it on fire;
  • supply of exhaust gases from vehicles to the molehill;
  • use of smoke bombs;
  • pouring food waste and waste products into a molehill;
  • flooding holes with water.

Moderation should be observed in everything, do not forget about this.

Ways to fight moles

To systematize the entire variety of methods for controlling these pests, we will divide them into several main fundamental categories.

So, let us highlight the following methods of waging war against moles, namely:

  1. Prevention of occurrence.
  2. Repellent.
  3. Catching using traps.
  4. Extermination using mole traps.
  5. Poisoning with pesticides.

Preventive measures are very effective and, moreover, humane. However, prevention requires some investment and time.

These methods include the following:

  • installation of a special anti-mole net around the perimeter of the site or under fertile soil;
  • digging linoleum or slate sheets along the edges of the area to a depth of 50 cm;
  • pouring crushed stone or sand around the perimeter of the site to the same depth;
  • planting legumes at the boundaries of the site and its territory.

The use of special devices for repelling moles from the site involves the installation of various devices on the territory of the garden protected in this way, performing the function of vibration and sound generators.

As you know, moles have an excellent sense of smell and easily detect strange vibrations and sound waves, perceiving them as a threat. There are also aromatizing repellents sold in capsules.

Among the repellers, we highlight the following main types, namely:

  • biological (flavors);
  • mechanical (homemade windmills);
  • electronic.

The latter are usually used, since bioflavors are exotic, and a windmill does not always reliably perform its function.

Electronic devices include both vibrating and sound-generating devices. There are also options that combine both methods of scaring away animals. Such devices are also divided according to the principle of power supply into conventional rechargeable ones, and those equipped with a solar panel, which allows you to recharge the device in clear weather.

More radical methods of capturing and destroying animals using numerous types of traps, both non-lethal and lethal types, are also widely used.

Another method used to kill moles is the use of toxic chemicals. It is these funds that we will talk about in more detail below.

How to use poison baits

Baits (granules, pastes, tablets, briquettes) are effective poisons for moles and shrews in a summer cottage. Poisonous baits (“Russian trap”, “Antikrot”) are used when other methods become useless. When poison enters the stomach of rodents, it causes muscle paralysis, failure of the nervous system, suffocation, internal bleeding, and death. The substance decomposes slowly (within 1 month).

To use the remedy against moles and shrews in a summer cottage:

  • throws several doses at once into fresh holes;
  • buried in the ground throughout the entire area;
  • checked after 2 days;
  • more poison is added if necessary.

It is better to poison rodents in dry, windless weather.

Instructions for use of DAKFOSAL Antikrot for exterminating insects:

From the family of insects, it is necessary to distinguish all flying and crawling ones, which, as a rule, feed on the seeds of cereals, legumes and fodder silage. The potato moth is a pest of tuber crops, preferring, however, potatoes.

For potato tubers you need three DACFOSAL Antikrot tablets per four hundred kilograms of potatoes. Arrange the potatoes in bulk if not in a container. Cover with film and place the drug under it.

When processing cereal seeds, 1-3 tons of grain should be treated with three DACFOSAL Antikrot tablets, and the heaps should be covered with film to increase the effectiveness of the action. Also close doors and windows to eliminate drafts.

Action

Anti-mole tablets are successfully used to repel various rodents - mice, rats, hamsters, gophers, as well as mole crickets, ticks, and barn weevils. The product is actively used by gardeners and gardeners.

The active substance is alphos gas - aluminum phosphide. Under the ground, upon contact with moisture, the release of a caustic gas with an unpleasant odor begins. It spreads over an area up to 4 m in diameter. The effect lasts for several days.

The pungent smell clogs the mole's sensitive organ of smell - the nose, forcing it to run. In approximately 2-3 days you can clear a plot of land from moles. It is allowed to use Alphos mole gas tablets for prevention if there are rodents in neighboring areas.

Alphos-mole tablets

Reviews

I'm just shocked by these pills. They help, it's true. It was not I personally who used it, but my neighbor. His moles moved onto my field, although there was a repeller. Apparently Alphos scared them more. I had a fight with my neighbor, so friends, don’t do this. But the pills work 100%.

Personally, I didn’t poison moles; my husband did that. He tried to set traps and scarers, but nothing helped. But Alphos helped, quickly and safely.

I'm not very good with chemicals, but the seller convinced me that it was safe. True, just in case, the husband used a chemical suit during processing.

Moles simply overwhelmed my garden, I no longer knew how to fight them. Alphos tablets only helped, and within a couple of weeks the animals ran away.

Oh, I want to say that there is deception all around. Alfos helped against moles, but after 2 months they returned. Such a remedy is dangerous and so of little use, it’s a shame.

Contraindications when using DACFOSAL Anticrot:

  • Do not use outdoors; the poisons released are very dangerous for people, animals and the environment.
  • Do not use together with other insecticides. Increasing the carbon dioxide content in the air can unpredictably enhance the reaction of the substance.
  • Disinsection work must be carried out by several people at the same time in order to carry out the pest control simultaneously and in a short time. After leaving, close the entrance to the room tightly.
  • People are allowed to enter the premises eleven days after etching and ventilation.
  • You must follow the instructions because... the substance is dangerous to the lives of people and animals.

  5. The tablets are placed in mole holes and covered with soil so that the poisonous gas spreads only through the holes and passages.

Instructions for use of DAKFOSAL Antikrot for the extermination of moles and rodents:

How to use DAKFOSAL Antikrot to fight moles:

  • first you need to find the hole,
  • immerse 2-3 tablets to maximum depth,
  • close the hole as tightly as possible with auxiliary material (stone, board),

The consumption of DAKFOSAL Antikrot when treating grain is 3 tablets. based on 1 ton of processed material. The hopper is sealed with film. Duration of treatment is from 5 to 10 days.

When processing bulk potatoes packed in bags or boxes:

  • for 100 kilograms of potatoes 3 tables,
  • the tablets are laid out evenly and the entire mass of tubers is isolated with film material,
  • processing time from 5 days,
  • gas does not affect the germination of seed.

After treatment, people can be allowed into the premises after 11 days from the start of gas treatment.

Alphos Mole is a highly toxic product used in the fight against moles, insects, and rodents in areas, granaries, and basements.

Produced in China, Rhapsod Plus LLC is also a manufacturer. It hardly produces tablets, but rather packages them and sends them for sale.

The Chinese export the toxic substance.

The manufacturer knows: it contains poison that is deadly to others. The instructions are silent about the danger.

Pills that are dangerous to health arrive on the shelves without being controlled by Rospotrebnadzor (in Russia); a similar situation is in Ukraine, not controlled by various authorities.

Using them is strictly prohibited, but there are many alternative drugs that are completely safe to use at home.

Dosage and use of the drug

For the use of a substance to be effective, it is necessary to focus on the object of treatment. To get rid of moles, mole rats, and hamsters, it is recommended to remove the molehill with a shovel. This is done before the hole appears. Then place the composition in the hole to a depth of 20 centimeters and sprinkle with soil. To achieve quick results, it is necessary to treat all molehills.

You can also water the mound made by the mole. As a result, the soil will subside and the wormhole will be completely exposed. At this stage, you need to put the Alphos Krota tablet and push it with a stick to the bottom of the hole. Perform similar actions for all mole hillocks.

To destroy ants and other soil parasites, the tablet should be placed in an anthill. It is recommended to do this directly in areas where parasites accumulate at a depth of about 10 centimeters.

To destroy mites, weevils, and aphids, you need to use 3 tablets per 1 ton of grain. In this case, it must be covered with film for 2 days.

Ask a Question

It is important to consider that the drug cannot be combined with insecticidal substances, since its effect may be enhanced by exposure to carbon dioxide.

The rate of exposure of the composition depends on the gas content, air temperature, type of parasites, and soil structure. Processing must be done in the morning. It is important to ensure that there is no wind. Do not apply the composition immediately after precipitation. If the application mode is followed, the composition does not have a negative effect on the germination parameters of seeds of different types of crops.

  • buried in the ground throughout the entire area;
  • checked after 2 days;
  • more poison is added if necessary.

It is better to poison rodents in dry, windless weather.

The best poisonous baits for moles

3 Green House

The product “Green House” is produced in the form of a gel concentrate, used for self-preparing mole bait. Its main component is bromadiolone, which begins to act after the pests consume the poison. On average, 15 g of product is needed per mole hole. The concentrate is very effective, so one treatment is enough to achieve the desired result.

Great for large areas or large populations of moles, rats and mice. Use in residential premises is not permitted. Pros: reliable and long-lasting action, large format (1 liter) and affordable price. The downside is that you will have to breed the bait yourself, following the manufacturer’s instructions and the safety rules contained in the instructions for the drug.

2 Russian Trap

If you are looking for a way to deal with moles, mice and rats not only on your property, but also in your living space, we recommend using Russian Trap bait. It is made in the form of special paraffin briquettes, the main component of which is brodifacoum. On sale are bags of 1 kg (for domestic use) and buckets of 10 kg (for industrial purposes).

The main feature of this poisonous bait is its variety of flavors. They lure moles and rats closer, subsequently exerting a suffocating effect. The following flavors are available: fish, strawberry, vanilla, peanut (the most popular) and chocolate. Pros: Disposable gloves inside, doughy texture, effective pest control. The downside is that it is difficult to calculate the bait consumption rate.

1 ARGUS-gel

ARGUS-gel is an effective remedy for moles, rats and mice. It is produced in a gel format, the weight of which is 30 g. Brodifacoum is the main active component of the product, which provides reliable protection of the area from underground pests. To ensure the result, apply 5-10 g of gel to the entrance of each burrow. It affects the respiratory system of moles, leading to paralysis.

When placing the best poison bait, be sure to use rubber gloves. After any use of the product, you must wash your hands thoroughly. The gel has a red pasty texture that is easy to apply and does not evaporate. Additionally, the composition includes flavorings and food fillers that attract underground pests. Pros: ease of use, safety for humans and animals, affordable cost.

Review of popular brands

Manufacturers offer various remedies for moles and shrews on the site: tablets, poisonous baits, ultrasonic repellers. The most popular of them are:

"Dakfosal"

The fumigation insecticide begins to emit heavy gas upon contact with the soil, spreading throughout all passages, penetrating into hard-to-reach places. Two to three tablets are placed at maximum depth. The hole is filled with earth.

DETIA

DETIA with essential oils, safe for people and soil, but effective against moles. The balls are buried at a distance from each other in the hole. Poisonous toxins immediately begin to evaporate. To achieve results, the procedure must be repeated at least 2 times per season.

"Russian Trap"

Bait in the form of paraffin briquettes is used to expel shrews, moles, rats, and mice from a summer cottage. Contains: active brodifacoum and fragrances with a suffocating effect.

ARGUS (gel)

One tube (30 g) is sufficient to distribute at the entrance to each burrow. The active substance is brodifacoum. Causes paralysis.

"Alphos Krot"

An effective drug against moles, hamsters, and gophers. It releases alphos (heavy gas), which gradually displaces air, settling to a soil depth of 3–4 m. The drug will not leave behind new mole spots after 7–10 days. Animals will become afraid and leave the area. For use:

  • scatter around the area, throw into holes;
  • sprinkle with earth.

The result can be observed within 20 hours after use.

The tablets are used according to the instructions. Do not open the packaging indoors.

"Stop the Mole"

A toxic chemical with migratory properties that quickly fills burrows. 2-3 tablets are placed in each hole and covered with earth. It is better to carry out procedures during the day (from 12:00 to 16:00). Predators immediately leave the dug up areas.

"Green House Antikrot"

Poisonous gel concentrate is a poison against shrews and moles in a summer cottage. Contains active bromadiolone. One treatment with placing 15 grams into a mole hole is enough, and the desired result will not take long to arrive.

The best tablets for moles

3 STOP-Mole

The best product, “STOP-Mole,” comes in the form of small tablets, the main active ingredients of which are pesticides with fumigation properties. The drug must be placed in the animal's burrow and then covered with a layer of earth. On average, 2-3 tablets are required for one mole’s home. The manufacturer recommends throwing them in the middle of the day (from 12:00 to 16:00 hours).

The reviews write that with subsequent treatments the number of tablets can be reduced by 1.5-2 times. Toxic gas fills the burrows, forcing rodents to leave their summer cottage. The product must not be opened in a residential area. Pros: long period of protective action, affordable price, excellent reviews. Disadvantages: you cannot throw in the tablets after rain; it is dangerous for humans if they inhale the gas released.

2 Detia

Detia mole repellent balls are chosen for their 100% safety for soil and humans. The effectiveness of their action is based on the effects of essential oils, the main one of which is lavender. These odors are pleasant to humans, but they are very repellent to moles. Oils saturate the soil for a long time, therefore they reliably protect your dacha from the reappearance of underground pests.

Reviews note that the product is sold ready for use. One package contains 100 balls, which must be buried at a short distance from each other (preferably near the minks). Pros: completely natural composition, evaporation of non-toxic toxins, biodegradable product. Disadvantages - it is valid only for one season, so the procedure may need to be repeated in the future.

1 Alphos-Krot+

“Alphos-Mole+” is the best remedy for fighting garden moles. Once in the soil, the tablets emit heavy gas (alphos), which gradually displaces the air and settles to a depth of 4 m. This repels and destroys underground pests, so we recommend placing the product in their burrows and immediately covering them with soil. Tool No. 1 in the fight against moles, hamsters and gophers. In addition, it is used against ants, aphids and mites.

Buyers write that the tablets work quickly and effectively. They are available in packs of 3, 5, 10 and even 30 pieces, so you need to choose based on the number of minks. The tablets come with detailed instructions in Russian. Please note that opening the packaging indoors is prohibited! Pros: ease of use, proven effectiveness, safety for plants. You will see the result within a few hours after use.

Is it possible to use sulfur bombs and firecrackers?

Smoke and sulfur bombs:

  • light up;
  • placed in passages, holes in the ground;

  • place on a small container treated with ammonia;
  • Set it on fire so that a fine ammonia smell begins to spread.

Alternative remedies

Fighting moles with phosphine has a number of serious disadvantages:

  • The area where the drug acts is unsuitable for long-term stay by completely healthy people.
  • Visits by children, pregnant women, nursing mothers and the sick are risky for the health of both visitors and their offspring.
  • The MRL for phosphine in products from the site will almost certainly be exceeded.
  • On an area of up to 400-500 sq. m around the injection site, beneficial soil organisms are destroyed.

Due to these shortcomings, it is better to fight moles using alternative methods. The first is creolin. Also not sugar or pickles for potatoes, but less dangerous and quite effective, see video:

Video: fighting moles with creolin

The folk remedy, rotten fish, also performs well. The mole is in no way a piscivore, and its nose is much more sensitive than a human’s. This product does not kill, but reliably drives away the animal. Herring heads work best, see story:

Video: rotten fish against moles

And finally, if you know how to track a mole, you can take it to the mole trap. Ready-made mole traps are commercially available, but homemade ones are just as good, see video:

Alphos-mole tablets

Chemical composition of the drug

The main and most dangerous substance of the drug is foxin gas, which is released. Many instructions incorrectly indicate its name - alphos. There is no such substance: it is the name of the drug (trademark).

Upon contact with wet soil, they begin to decompose, releasing a toxic gas that quickly spreads through the soil to a depth of 4 m and is released into the air.

Effects of phosphine on the human body

On Alphos Krot tablets, the instructions for use seem extremely simple.

It states that the drug begins to act 30 minutes after it enters the ground.

Garden pest - mole

In fact, the situation is less joyful: the poisonous phosphine gas begins to be released as soon as the seal of the package is broken.

When a person uses the drug indoors, intoxication quickly occurs.

There have been fatal cases where people died while working on sites without using protective equipment.

  1. toxic;
  2. explosive;

Alphos Krot belongs to pesticides of the first hazard class. They cannot be sold through online stores to people who have not undergone special training.

When working with substances containing phosphine, it is necessary to accurately calculate the amount of substance used.

When processing granaries, 9 g of phosphine is taken per ton of grain. The employee undergoes mandatory training before work.

Phosphine treatment should only be carried out by professionals!

He must work with a gas mask or other class B protective equipment. The package contains 30 tablets at once. Usually a smaller amount is used for baiting rodents.

The rest are closed again in the capsule and stored until needed. Gradually, gas is released due to the violation of the seal of the packaging and fills the visit.

An unacceptable amount of vapor accumulates in it, which often causes poisoning or death.

But here is the text of the original source, this article was written by a person who works in the agro-industrial complex and is an expert in agricultural chemistry, we quote:

“As every compatriot knows, in Russia there are a dime a dozen controlling authorities, unlike the damned Bolsheviks. It’s hard to even imagine how many inspections, supervisions and security services ensure our safety, guard our Fatherland, or even simply look into the wallets of citizens in order to facilitate them from time to time. Tax officials are trampling on one square meter of those under their care with firefighters and Rospotrebnadzor; The FSB, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Russian Guard are cooking together in one pot - and somehow there is enough for everyone. Violent activity is visible to the naked eye, only splashes fly. However, when it happens that there is an urgent need for an urgent response from the controllers, you either cannot finish shouting at them, or they turn a blind eye to the outrages with other senses. “I don’t see anything, I don’t hear anything, I won’t say anything.”

This is an egregious example, although this is a specific area, which is probably why they don’t ring much bells. Over the last couple of years, this kind of crap has appeared on the virtual shelves of online stores selling agricultural chemicals for gardeners.

The drug “Alphos-mole+” is advertised as a remedy for moles, is sold freely, and none of the Rospotrebnadzor officials have yet fainted at the mere thought that a pesticide of the FIRST HAZARD CLASS is on free sale. The link and the annotation shown in the photo contain a bunch of factual errors that misinform the buyer. Firstly, preparations based on aluminum phosphide do not emit “alphos” (this is just a trademark of these tablets, one of many in China) or “gas with the smell of karbofos”, but the monstrously poisonous phosphine gas. In its pure form it is colorless and odorless, but technical, “dirty” phosphine, used in the agricultural sector, has an unpleasant putrefactive odor.

For your information, BOV Sarin and Soman are phosphine derivatives. But phosphine itself is poisonous (a dangerous concentration that can lead to death is 0.05 mg/l), and at a concentration of 2000 ml/m3 (2 l/m3) it causes instant death. In agriculture, it is used for disinfecting granaries and protecting grain from mites, weevils and other pests, when transporting crops, etc. The norm for thick grain is 9 grams per 1 ton of grain, for unloaded storage facilities (calculated based on the volume of the room) - from 3 to 5 grams per 1 cubic meter. A typical tablet of a phosphine-containing fumigant is exactly 9 grams, so it is easier for an agronomist or grain processing plant worker to calculate the consumption per ton of grain. They work with it only in personal protective equipment (preferably RU-67M with a “B” brand cartridge, or better yet, a gas mask), and people must first undergo appropriate instruction. The fumigation process itself lasts from 5 to 9 days (this period is called “exposure” by experts), and degassing (i.e. ventilation) lasts at least 10 days.

Phosphine preparations are produced only (I emphasize, ONLY!) in metal tubes with hermetically sealed closures. Most often they are 1 kg, but there are also metal bottles of 0.3 kg. The aluminum phosphide that these tablets are made of is an extremely unstable compound. As soon as you opened the tube, the reaction began. When interacting with water vapor in the atmospheric air, aluminum phosphide (magnesium phosphide is used less frequently, but it is more expensive and rarely used) begins to decompose according to a simple formula: poisonous phosphine is released in the form of a gas, and aluminum hydroxide remains in the solid powdery residue, which is completely harmless. I emphasize once again, once you open the tube, you need to use ALL the tablets! The reaction is unstoppable. Therefore, you cannot take 2-5 tablets from the plastic ampoule in the picture and leave the rest “for later.” They must be used immediately, no capping will save you, the gas will ooze out and poison everything around... for example, in the shed where you threw an ampoule with underused Alphos-mole+.

Among other things, phosphine has another nasty feature. Accumulating in small spaces and reaching a certain concentration, it spontaneously ignites. I personally saw this when, when opening an industrial package (21 tubes of 1 kg each in a cardboard drum), as soon as the lid was lifted, a tongue of flame erupted from inside - the warehouse worker’s face was almost burned. It turned out that one of the tubes had slightly lost its seal, the gas was leaking and during transportation it filled the entire volume of the drum. When the lid was abruptly torn off, an influx of oxygen began and a fire occurred.

Thus, I state that the sale of individuals. I cannot regard phosphine-containing drugs as anything other than sabotage. The population should absolutely not be given class 1 poisons; they will poison each other completely (C). The likelihood of poisoning due to negligence is very high. Let me remind you that in the fall of 2008, in the Vadsky district of the Nizhny Novgorod region, an alternatively gifted family of morons stole a bottle of phosphine from the warehouse of an agricultural enterprise in the village of Lopatino and decided to get rid of insects and rats in the cellar. In total, eight people were poisoned, two died - children. A two-year-old boy and his six-month-old brother. I remember later drawing the investigator a diagram of the breakdown of aluminum phosphide and the mechanism of action of the gas... the local Lopatinsky collective farm purchased pesticides from our company, so the investigative authorities immediately came to us with a request for consultation and, at the same time, told such details that it makes me sick to remember. So, believe me, I know what I'm talking about. And reading reviews of summer residents praising “miracle pills”, laying out aluminum phosphide with their bare hands and sniffing it uncontrollably - the hair on my head is moving with horror.

Fucking morons. And those who allow this extremely dangerous rubbish into the private household plot market are accomplices in the preparation of a crime. Rospotrebnadzor, ah!”

Using alternative methods in the fight against moles

Uninvited guests in the form of burrowing animals are unwelcome on the site. They try to fight it in different ways.

Since you can’t use Alphos Krot, you can remember other methods:

  • traps;
  • mole traps;
  • repellers;
  • traps;
  • barrier nets along the perimeter of the site (to a depth of 50 cm);
  • smoke bombs;
  • approved drugs.

Traditional methods are widely used:

  1. fencing the site to a depth of up to half a meter with slate and linoleum;
  2. planting legumes in beds;
  3. installation of homemade wind turbines;
  4. filling dug tunnels with water and others.

Swissinno SuperCat Vole Trap

The Swissinno SuperCat Vole Trap mole trap is completely safe for use on the site.

The trap is manufactured by Swissinno, a company operating in Switzerland since 1999. Innovative products are highly appreciated in Europe, and have been conquering the CIS markets since 2012.

The best alternative to Alfos is the Swissinno SuperCat Vole Trap mole trap

The mole trap is easy to use. No user training or use of protective equipment is required.

Used according to the algorithm:

  • taking a probe, you need to find the animal’s burrow underground;
  • a hole is dug into which the catching device can easily fit;
  • the trap is installed in the working position (just raise the lever);
  • The mole trap is lowered into the recess.

When a mole or another underground animal moving through the hole is caught in the trap, the lever is lowered.

The reusable device can be used indefinitely. After catching your moles, you can lend them to your neighbor so that pests do not infest the clean area.

If you want to exterminate moles, you should not kill yourself, family members, or neighbors. One must be aware of safety when seeing untested drugs supplied by unscrupulous traders who deliberately hide the truth.

And in conclusion, I suggest you watch a video about how one summer resident tested various anti-mole remedies and found out which remedy was the most effective
