Description of the drug

“Get” is a white or cream-colored liquid suspension that destroys pests and parasites with the help of 5% chlorpyrifos in its composition. This is an organophosphorus group insecticide of class III toxicity. The substance is considered low-hazard for warm-blooded creatures. The drug destroys bedbugs, cockroaches, ants, fleas, ticks, skin beetles, flies and their larvae, blood-sucking mosquitoes and their larvae, and bell-bellied mosquitoes.

"Get" has intestinal and contact effects. It causes blockage of nerve impulses, convulsions, paralysis and then death. Contact effects occur when a poisoned individual returns to the den and comes into contact with other members of the population, transferring particles of poison. Thanks to this, death awaits even those parasites that emerge from eggs within a few days after treatment.

The active substance in the drug is enclosed in microcapsules, therefore isolated from the external environment. This preserves the effectiveness of chlorpyrifos and ensures safety for humans and animals. Pest death occurs 1–3 days after contact with the toxin.

The drug has a number of advantages:

Active ingredient: lambda-cyhalothrin

The active ingredient of Get Express is lambda-cyhalothrin, one of the most effective insecticides of the pyrethroid group. In the professional environment, it is known as a poison, which, when used in a hot fog generator, poisons not only all insects and other arthropods, but even rats and mice.

The drug has an acute nerve-paralytic effect on insects, ticks, centipedes and spiders. No more than an hour passes from the moment the substance enters the insect’s body until it dies. Specifically, bed bugs die in the period of time from 15 to 41 minutes after spraying with the drug.

There are no known populations of synanthropic insects resistant to lambda-cyhalothrin, and therefore to Get Express. This means that when used in domestic conditions, it is guaranteed to destroy those insects that come into contact with it.

Forms of release of the drug

Previously, Get was bottled only in 100 ml bottles. Now the product has several forms of release.

"Get Total"

Get Total is a suspension. It is available in three versions:

A separate bubble.
A bottle in a thin cardboard box, in which, in addition to the drug, there are protective equipment - gloves and a mask.
In the form of a 1 liter container.

The drug is used for treating premises and disinfesting outdoors. Its composition:

chlorpyrifos - 5%;

Instructions for use

To destroy parasites and pests using Get, follow the instructions:

Wear protective clothing and equipment.
Shake the bottle with the drug for a minute.
Prepare the solution according to the table. Dilute with water at room temperature and stir thoroughly.
Spray the prepared emulsion using a sprayer.
When treating against bedbugs and rat mites:
treat cracks in the walls, places where wallpaper comes off, behind baseboards, doorways;
do not treat bedding;
repeat disinfestation after 2 weeks.
To exterminate cockroaches: spray the drug on all places where pests may be localized, carefully treat the area around the sink and under it, the kitchen stove on all sides, the food waste collection area, pipes, cracks, wallpaper areas, behind the baseboards.
To get rid of ants, sanitize their places of movement and localization, ventilation openings, and all types of pipes. Regardless of the type of surface, the spray rate is 100 ml/m2.
When treating fleas, spray the product into cracks, baseboards, and onto the entire floor; treat walls to a height of 1 m.
To eliminate flies and mosquitoes, apply the product to places where insects accumulate and breed.

The toxin poses a low level of danger to humans and animals. The product shows its effect within 2 hours after treatment. It is used both indoors and outdoors. "Get Express" has two forms of release:

Instructions for using a mixture of two drugs

Remove people not involved in sanitization and all animals from the house. Close the aquarium and terrarium tightly.

You can enter the area treated with it 1 hour after disinfestation;

Instructions for use of the drug

Operating procedure:

Prepare the area for processing: remove last year's leaves, mow the grass, remove debris.
Remove equipment and garden furniture, tightly close water containers. Do not allow the drug to get into drinking water!
Disinsection should be carried out in dry, windless weather with a favorable forecast (no rain) for the next 3 days after treatment.
Remove children, animals and other persons not taking part in processing from the site.
Wear protective clothing, respirator and goggles.
Shake the bottle with the drug for 1–2 minutes.
Pour the emulsion into a container for preparing the solution.
Dilute the product with water at room temperature. For 1 bottle you will need 6 liters of water.
Pour the prepared solution into sprayers.
Start processing from the far zones of the site, moving along the squares.
Apply the solution generously to grass, shrubs to a height of up to 0.5 m from the ground, to garden paths and lawns.
Do not spray the product directly onto the soil where seedlings and other plantings will be placed.

1–2 hours after disinfestation, you can go out into the area. How long the product will last and when it needs to be re-treated is currently unknown. The approximate cost of the drug is 770 rubles.

"Get Dry" is an insecticidal agent in solid form that is applied to absorbent surfaces - wood, concrete, fabric, etc. The drug is completely ready for use. After application, the product covers the treated surface with a film that is colorless and does not leave stains. Used indoors only, one package is enough to treat 8 m2 of absorbent surface.

The manufacturer recommends using the pencil together with Get Total, applying the first to absorbent surfaces, and the second to non-absorbent ones. After wet cleaning, repeat the treatment. The cost of the drug is 430 rubles. Composition of the product:

Mechanism of action on insects

When the substance is sprayed over the habitats of bedbugs, heavy capsules with poison settle on the treated surface, covering it with a dense layer. The shell gradually breaks down, releasing chlorpyrifis. The poison enters the respiratory system of pests, causing paralysis of surrounding organs. Bedbugs carry particles of the substance on their legs to the nest, where they poison their relatives. Also, the capsules are glued to the chitinous cover of pests, where Get against bedbugs begins a paralytic effect from the outside.

Places where insects accumulate are detected by traces of their vital activity. More often, the wooden interior surfaces of furniture are covered with numerous dark specks. Bedbugs can be found in the folds of the seams on the mattress, under peeled parts of the wallpaper. It is recommended to apply the toxic suspension to the following places:

in the cracks under the baseboards around the entire perimeter of the apartment;
treat the back of the furniture, moving it away from the wall;
remove and spray wall decorations, paintings, clocks with the solution;
the bed, sofa, chairs must be disassembled in order to treat all inaccessible places;

Duration of action

Activities before and after treatment of the premises

Any disinfestation requires preparation of the premises. Before baiting parasites and pests, the following measures are carried out:

Women who are pregnant and breastfeeding are not allowed to use the treatment.
To protect your health, you must use closed clothing, a respirator, goggles and gloves.

Efficiency

The first result after using Get bedbug repellent is noticeable after a day. Bedbug attacks at night practically stop, but in order to completely eliminate the population, the substance must destroy the eggs and the beetles that survived the treatment.
