Reviews

Irina, Voronezh

I used Tsifox to fight cockroaches at my dacha. I was very pleased with the result. I liked the long lasting effect. The presence of the smell indicated that the product was still working, so the pests would not return. It is also worth noting that, along with cockroaches, mosquitoes and flies have disappeared. Even after I washed the room, insects do not appear in the house. For several months now, nothing has interfered with our family’s summer vacation.

Andrey, Samara

For a long time I was looking for a suitable remedy to finally get rid of cockroaches in the apartment. The drugs I used before were ineffective or only gave a partial effect. A friend who works in a special company that deals with baiting insects recommended Tsifox. She said that their company has been using this product for a long time, and it shows excellent results. I decided to try it too. I did everything according to the instructions, and the cockroaches disappeared. Quite a lot of time has passed, and there are still no insects in the apartment. I was pleased with the result.

Using Tsifoks for plants

In everyday life, with the help of Tsifoks you can eliminate pests, both on house flowers and on plants in summer cottages. Treatment of grass and flower beds against ticks, midges and ants is especially effective in early spring. The lawn can be used after the product has completely dried on the grass.

In summer cottages, you can spray flowering trees and shrubs, thus getting rid of aphids, spiders, midges, spider mites and other midges. Depending on the type of pest, the emulsion is sprayed on trunks, branches and root parts. In vegetable gardens and household plots, it is better to carry out the procedure in spring or early summer, when the harvest is still far away. And although Tsifox does not penetrate inside plants, it is not advisable to carry out treatment near crops used for food, but if this cannot be avoided, vegetables, herbs or berries should be rinsed well with running water.

If parasites or insects have infested the root or basal part of the plant, watering should be done with a diluted emulsion. These methods can exterminate ants, fleas, caterpillars, and worms.

Instructions for use of Tsifoks

An incorrectly prepared solution and non-compliance with the dosage can lead to the death of plants, or, conversely, to the absence of any result.

Therefore, in order for the composition to have a detrimental effect on parasites and not harm plants, you must adhere to certain preparation rules:

  • pour approximately 1 liter of water into a prepared container;
  • add the required amount of concentrate;
  • mix the ingredients;
  • add the remaining water and stir for 5 minutes;
  • wait another 5 minutes and start working.

How to breed Tsifoks

The emulsion must be prepared immediately before using the drug, after putting rubber gloves on your hands and a mask or bandage on your face. It is advisable to take a bucket that you won’t mind throwing away later. The composition when diluted with water will have a transparent color.

To eliminate fleas and midges on plants, a 0.1% solution is sufficient, and it can be prepared by mixing 5 liters of water and 20 ml of concentrate.

You can destroy bedbugs, ants and ticks with just a 0.05% solution, which is obtained by combining 5 liters of water with 10 ml of pure emulsion.

In open areas, the consumption for ground treatment should be taken at the rate of 100 ml per 1 m² of area.

Important! The prepared solution should be stored for no more than 8 hours, otherwise it will lose its effect.

How to spray and water

After preparing the emulsion, it must be carefully poured into a spray bottle. In the garden, when treating large areas, trees or shrubs, it is better to use a capsule garden sprinkler. Working with a fine flower spray will take too much time. On the contrary, it is better to treat house flowers with a small sprayer so as not to splash the product around, and then ventilate the room. If possible, houseplants can be taken outside and treated there.

There is no need to work with Tsifoks in open areas in windy weather, as toxic substances will be sprayed in the wrong direction. Watering with the solution is carried out strictly at the root of the plant.

The emulsion does not erode for a long time, and its effect continues to operate indoors for up to 3 months, and outdoors for 3-4 weeks.

Preparation of working solution

To prepare the working solution you will need 4 ml. tsifoksa, which is diluted in a bucket of water. With these proportions, the concentration of the solution is 0.1%, which is quite enough to get rid of parasites. You cannot change the proportions yourself; firstly, this will not affect the result in any way, and secondly, it can only harm those living in the apartment.

After mixing the components, the solution needs to sit a little for 510 minutes, then it can be used. The solution is applied in two ways. Some of it is poured into a spray bottle, which is convenient for treating hard-to-reach places and crevices. The second part can be applied using a regular brush. After 2 days the procedure is repeated.

If during the procedure you feel symptoms of poisoning, for example, dizziness, nausea, lacrimation, etc., immediately stop work and go outside. It is necessary to change clothes, wash and rinse your stomach. When symptoms do not go away, consult a doctor.

Preparing the premises

As mentioned earlier, a lot depends on the degree of contamination of the room. If you noticed these parasites at an early stage, and they did not have time to create a huge colony, then the treatment itself will follow a simplified scheme. In the case where there are already a large number of them, you need to carry out the procedure very carefully.

The result will also depend on how correctly you prepared the room before the procedure. Preparation is also necessary for safety reasons.

  • Be sure to remove all food from surfaces; they can be hidden in the refrigerator and packed in bags. Also hide dishes and kitchen utensils.
  • We hide all personal hygiene products, children's toys, and hide clothes.
  • We clean all surfaces as much as possible from any things and objects.
  • We remove bed linen, bedspreads and other textiles; they need to be washed.
  • Be sure to wash animal bedding.
  • After washing all textiles, they must be ironed to high temperature, this will help get rid of parasite eggs.

A few words should be said about the parasites themselves in order to understand what we are fighting against. The fact is that fleas do not lay eggs in one place, nor do they parasitize only on the body of an animal. They use the body of animals and humans only for saturation, then the females leave it and lay offspring. With this procedure, they can leave eggs on absolutely all surfaces. Most often these are carpets and rugs, upholstered furniture; in large populations, they climb into hard-to-reach places, crevices and baseboards, where they also leave offspring.

It is very important to carry out a general cleaning of the premises before processing, during which it will be possible to get rid of a large number of eggs, from which the younger generation emerges within 2 weeks. The first thing you need to do is thoroughly vacuum the carpets, furniture, and all textiles. Next, get rid of cobwebs and dust and perform a wet cleaning.

Treatment

During this procedure, only the person performing it can be in the apartment. All residents and pets must leave the premises. If there is an aquarium in the apartment, then it is better to take it out; when this is not possible, be sure to cover it with a lid.

So, protective equipment must be used. It is necessary to wear protective overalls that will prevent the substance from coming into contact with the skin. If this is not available, you can wear pants and a long-sleeved sweater, but remember that the clothes must be washed after treatment. Rubber gloves are also used. Since application is carried out using a sprayer, keep in mind that microparticles of the drug will be present in the air throughout the room; be sure to use a respirator and safety glasses.

The substance is applied to all surfaces where the largest concentration of parasites is expected. If the infection is severe, you will need to move the furniture away from the walls to treat the baseboards.

After the substance is applied to the surface, you must leave the apartment for at least 8 hours. The ideal option is for the family and their pets to move for several days during the treatment, which allows them to complete all the steps without haste and take maximum care of safety.

You need to change clothes, wash your hands and face, and go outside.

Activities after treatment

One person returns to the apartment, who must ventilate the room well and carry out wet cleaning. It is necessary to pay special attention to surfaces with which people and animals come into contact; there should be no toxic substance on them.

The poisonous agent can only remain in hard-to-reach places. Keep in mind that small children and animals can pick up objects from the floor and they should not come into contact with the drug.

Which plants is not suitable for Tsifox and compatibility with other drugs

First of all, due to its high toxicity, the drug cannot be used to treat the fruits of plants used for food in order to avoid the entry of a toxic substance into the body. It is strictly forbidden to spray vegetable crops such as cabbage and squash with it.

Fruit trees, shrubs, and vegetable plants that have not yet borne fruit can be treated with the composition 30-40 days before harvest. Treatment of raspberries against bedbugs is especially popular.

In a greenhouse, the working solution can be used to water the habitats and accumulations of parasites, and watering should be carried out strictly at the root of the plant.

It is better to use Cifox alone and not in combination with other chemicals. It is a potent agent, which, if used correctly, will be sufficient to eliminate any type of parasites on plants.

Flaws

Despite the obvious advantages, Cifox also has some disadvantages:

  • before use, the product should be properly prepared by diluting it with water in the required proportions;
  • it is extremely important to follow the instructions exactly and observe the dosage;
  • special attention should be paid to precautionary measures, since Cifox has a fairly high toxicity;
  • there is a possibility of addiction. In this case, when repeated treatment, insects will not react to the drug;
  • an unpleasant specific odor that will persist for some time after treatment.

Precautions for use

Tsifoks is a very effective and fast-acting remedy, but working with it requires special care and attention. To avoid poisoning, it should be stored out of the reach of children with the lid tightly closed. You also need to remember that it is a flammable flammable liquid, so it is forbidden to spray it or leave it near a fire.

It does not have such a destructive effect on people and animals as on parasites, however, it can cause a severe allergic reaction or poisoning, which will be dangerous to human health and life.

When working, you must adhere to safety measures:

  • use personal protective equipment: gloves, rubber boots, tight-fitting goggles, a protective face mask or respirator;
  • Only people who have reached the age of majority are allowed to work;
  • the concentrate should not be used by pregnant women, children and people with allergies;
  • if the treatment is carried out indoors, then 3 hours after the procedure, ventilation must be carried out;
  • after watering and spraying flowers in the living room, be sure to carry out wet cleaning;
  • When spraying plants in an open area, do not stand against the direction of the wind while working.

Important! If the drug gets on the skin, then to avoid irritation, it should be washed immediately with a soda solution.

The main advantages of the drug are its long shelf life, low cost, availability, high efficiency and versatility in use. If the instructions for diluting the composition are not violated, then Tsifox acts after the first use, without requiring re-treatment, and the result remains for a long time.

Release form

The drug is available in the form of a concentrated solution, which is bottled in green plastic bottles. There are several volumes of the product produced:

  • For small treatment areas - Tsifoks 25 ml;
  • For treating apartments - Tsifoks 50 ml;
  • If it is necessary to treat the garden - Tsifoks in volumes of 500 ml and 1000 ml.

Tsifox 25% concentrate is classified as class 3 moderately dangerous toxic substances when inhaled and class 4 when exposed to the skin.

It is necessary to calculate the correct concentration of the drug, because this indicator is the second most important after the quality certificate, which determines the level of toxicity and duration of action of the active component. Plus, it is recommended to purchase the product only in trusted sales departments, for example, in a pharmacy or specialized stores.

The solution should be stored at a temperature of no more than 25 degrees. If the temperature regime is not observed, the effect of the active substance is reduced.
