So, with such a flow of incoming information, we have never heard of anyone successfully removing rats using repellers alone. There were cases when, somewhere, someone used the entire available arsenal against rodents: poisons, traps, and repellers. And the rats disappeared. But it is impossible to say for sure which specific remedy worked. Moreover, in such cases one cannot be sure that the rats were bred only by repellers.
