Shampoo Paranit for lice and nits: reviews and instructions

Paranit shampoo is a medical product with a special mechanism of action on lice - it dries and suffocates the pathogens of lice, preventing them from breathing and consuming moisture. This approach guarantees high results after the first application. The positive effect of the drug has been confirmed in numerous studies. Due to the absence of insecticides in the drug, insects do not develop resistance to the components of the drug, even after repeated application.

Production

The material is made from several main components:

  • Asbestos (pictured) is an elastic, durable, high-temperature resistant fibrous material. The shorter the asbestos fibers, the lower the heat resistance of the finished material. For the most difficult operating conditions, paronite is produced based on chrysotile asbestos. In high-quality material, the proportion of asbestos reaches 60–75%.
  • Rubber (12–15% of the total mass of the mixture). Natural provides paronite with a higher filling capacity when compressing the gasket; synthetic is weaker in this regard, but cheaper.
  • Sulfur is a vulcanizing component. Added in an amount of 1.2–8%.
  • Fillers, mainly mineral (15–18%).

To reduce the cost of production, they often reduce the amount of rubber, add more fillers, or use asbestos dust instead of fibrous material. All this reduces the quality of paronite, its ability to fill voids, resistance to moisture, pressure and high temperatures.

The prepared rubber mixture is vulcanized and molded. Sheets are obtained by pressing, finished parts by pressing and stamping. When producing reinforced paronite, a metal mesh is placed in the thickness of the sheet.

Can I wash animals with this shampoo?

To destroy parasites on an animal, one drop of the medicine intended for them in the withers area is enough.

In most cases, animals do not like water and you may face a number of problems. After all, human shampoo needs to be left on for a certain amount of time and washed thoroughly. It is impossible to explain to an animal that a poorly washed product will remain on the fur. This will harm the skin as well. The hair structure of humans and animals is different.

Animals react to foreign odors, which can lead to poisoning of your pet. Therefore, pests should be controlled with the means intended for them. The best person to help with this issue is a veterinarian.

How does the product work?

Lice absorb oxygen through the entire surface of the body. They have 14 breathing holes on the sides. Nits sit quite tightly in a protective capsule, which is attached to the hair. Inside they have enough all the nutrients, and outside they only receive oxygen.

Dimethicone and mineral oil contained in the product act as air blockers. By clogging the openings of the cocoons and respiratory tracts of lice, these substances block the air supply inside. From its lack, the insect suffocates within a minute.

The components are not capable of causing addiction and resistance of parasites, as they are non-toxic. The effect of both components is the same over several treatments. If you used something else before this product and the medicine did not cope with the problem, “Paranit” is able to completely kill previously treated lice and nits.
